This post probably should have gone out closer to Christmas, or I dunno, in 2016? But just like the actual cards, this is late haha.
So it's late, but I hope your holiday season was fun, festive, and at this point, finished.
It's my favorite part of the year, but for some reason as soon as January hits, it just feels old and I'm ready for it to be over. Maybe because I start celebrating in mid November?
So now that our Christmas is fully packed away (finally!), I guess it's time to share some pictures from our Christmas card?
As you can probably tell, I'm super excited to finally have a real mantel to hang stockings on and decorate for Christams. Life goals. Seriously. And this year we even managed to get Maia into a few pictures. There was lots of bribery and food involved, and she even bit my finger in one picture while trying to grab the food. She might not have been super excited, but I'm glad she was represented.
One of my Christmas gifts was a new camera that is so complicated I took it out of the box once before hiding it away again haha. My goal is to figure it out by Christmas next year, so our photos might actually be lit correctly for once! Does that count as a New Year's resolution? We'll see how I do.
